Our highest-end phono cartridge line not only has a new generation flagship cartridge, but a newcomer as well. The new Lineage Series 3 family now includes the Epoch3, Aeon3, and Statement3.
Combining newly developed techniques with decade-old disciplines, our flagship cartridges have gold, sapphire, diamond, and wood working in harmony. Continuing the diligent work that originally brought the Epoch to life, the new Epoch3 brings sound reproduction to whole new levels. We have developed a four-step technique of shielding which allows the isolation of the wire turns in the coils. This process allows for a cleaner signal path than any other phono cartridge currently in production. The music travels unobstructed through the coils reducing any mechanical distortion to nil. The outer casing is a specially selected species of cocobolo wood that goes through a variation of thermal aging processes. This enhances the ability of the wood to better dampen and control the resonant frequencies throughout the cartridge.
The Aeon3 not only has these new shielding techniques as well, but also a new wood housing process that brings out even more life from the sound that runs through it. The Statement3 was upgraded to the point where it couldn’t stay in a lower series and had to be promoted, now taking advantage of processes the Epoch3 and Aeon3 have all while housed in Australian Jarrah wood.
